For several years now, many users have testified to the technological shortcomings of the current Lobbyists Registry. For both registration and consultation purposes, this platform designed in 2002 no longer meets the requirements of lobbyists, public decision-makers and citizens. The sharing of administrative responsibilities between the Commissioner and the Department of Justice also makes the application of the Act more complex.
Thus, in June 2019, the assent of Bill 6 (in French only) gave the Lobbyists Commissioner the responsibility of designing and administering a new, simple and efficient platform to replace the current registry. Driven by his vision, our team is working enthusiastically towards its launch!
